This crazy bunch is who you are dealing with! My name is D.j. Wischmeyer, I am the owner of WischREI. Along with my beautiful wife, April,  and our two rambunctious daughters we have embarked on this journey into real estate investment. 

I was born and raised in the Indian Lake region of Ohio. This small community is composed of blue collar families, mostly farmers or factory workers. My mom worked at Honda of America Mfg. and my dad was a general contractor and farmer. Growing up I learned a great work ethic from my parents and received the entrepreneurial itch from my dad who ran his own construction business.  I moved down to Cincinnati for college where I met my wife and she would not let me leave. 😉 I’ve spent almost 20 years in the Insurtech space honing and building technical, management and sales skills. After reading Rich Dad Poor Dad the drive to create some passive income and scratch my entrepreneurial itch was re-ignited. I am taking this drive and knowledge and putting it to work in the real estate investment space. My goal is to use this avenue to produce passive income and provide my children with awesome experiences while they are growing up. This will also be an education tool for them, supplement our income  and eventually be passed to them if they choose to follow this path. For WischREI in a day to day capacity, I handle operations and strategic direction.
