This crazy bunch is who you are dealing with! My name is D.j. Wischmeyer, I am the owner of WischREI. Along with my beautiful wife, April,  and our two rambunctious daughters we have embarked on this journey into real estate investment. 

I was born and raised in the Indian Lake region of Ohio, a close-knit community of hardworking, blue-collar families. My mother built her career at Honda of America Mfg., while my father balanced farming with running his own construction business. From them, I learned the value of discipline, perseverance, and the entrepreneurial spirit that continues to shape my journey.

After moving to Cincinnati for college—where I met my wife and ultimately put down roots—I built a 20+ year career in the Insurtech industry, developing a strong foundation in technology, management, and sales. Along the way, my interest in entrepreneurship never faded. Inspired by Rich Dad Poor Dad, I reignited my passion for building long-term wealth and freedom through real estate investing.

Today, I channel that drive into WischREI, where I lead daily operations and set the strategic direction. My vision is to build sustainable passive income through real estate—creating memorable experiences for my family, providing a practical financial education for my children, and ultimately leaving behind an asset they can choose to grow if they wish.
